Dr. Weese is a veterinary internist and microbiologist, and a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. His clinical and research interests focus on infectious diseases, particularly antimicrobial resistance, antimicrobial stewardship, emerging diseases and zoonotic diseases. He has published over 350 papers in peer reviewed journals, edited 3 books and speaks extensively on infectious disease topics to veterinary, public health, microbiology and medical audiences.
